We Are Family...

Hi Friends!  Can you believe we are over half way through the month?  This summer seems to be flying by.  I'm excited to be going on a road trip with a friend next week up to Indiana to see family & friends!  I hope to get some great pics to scrap!
For my layout I used a cute sketch from Colorful Creations. and combined it with a photo inspiration challenge by Scrap Stuffz "Inspired by Challenges".

Recipe- Paper- DCWV, Piggy Tales, Cricut Cartridges- Create a Critter, Wild Card, Life is a Beach, Doodlecharms, Accent Essentials, Creative Memories Be Young, Stamping,  Ink- Martha Stewart, Dew Drop & Close to My Heart

Scrap Stuffz "Inspired by Challenges"

I was inspired by the color of the birds and the bottle for my color palette.  I chose to add seagulls on my layout for the birds.  The pine cone inspired me to use a tree on my layout and I chose the palm tree.  The last thing that inspired me was that it was outdoors and I chose to use an outdoor photo.

Outdoor Adventure...

Hi Friends!  Today's layout is of my husband and grandsons.  My husband rescued a turtle in the road close to home and kept it to show the kids.  They loved the experience of seeing a large turtle so close!  Of course the turtle had other ideas and didn't stick around long.
For my page today I chose to use a sketch from  Let's Capture Our Memories.  I was drawn to the sketch because you could use four or more photos on your page!  I have to admit the sketch was a little out of my comfort zone I have gotten in a habit of using one or two photos on a page.  However this time but I was inspired to give it a try and I'm so glad I did!

For the title I chose two different fonts and welded them together in the Cricut Craft Room.

You are My Sunshine...

Hi Friends!  Today's layout is a combined challenge.  Stuck?!  teamed up with Studio Challenges for a great combination Sketch & Color!!  Sometimes it really helps with a direction when you add a color challenge!  This time I was directed to use paper that I might not have used!  That's what I love about a color challenge to get you motivated!!

My page features my daughter and grandson.  He loves to play on the steps of the pool and today was no exception!

Recipe- Paper- DCWV. Ink Studio G, Martha Stewart, Chipboard- Colorbok', Wood shapes- Provo Craft, Gems, Washi Tape

I have been trying to use up my stash.  I think I have had the piano die cut for over 10 years.  Yes I'm a scrapbook hoarder!  lol...  This is one of the things I have been working on this year.  I pulled some of my stickers out and put them in a craft box for my grand kids.  They love it and they use them faster than I ever would!!
